I remember my black cat called Tom jumped out my bedroom window when he was just a young cat. I left the window open for some fresh air and the cat jumped out. I actually screamed, but luckly he landed on his feet. He was fine and playing as usual. Had him for 17 years and miss him. Yes the cat appeared to land safely and took off but there’s always trauma when falling and landing from height like that. I’m a veterinarian and these cats can have internal injuries fractures that are not obvious immediately and need care.
