The people of New York are truly amazing! I went to visit once and I got into the wrong train on grand central station. In the last second I realized I was not supposed to be there and I was going to the wrong airport. I tried to get out but it was so full of people, I just couldn’t make my way out. Thankfully this really tall guy saw me and asked if I needed to get out. I confirmed while being a bit panicked. He literally picked me up by my backpack and took me out the door as the train was ready to leave. I didn’t even get to say Thank you but here it is, Thank You, Stranger!! Without you I would’ve missed my flight and all other connecting flights I had to take. The people of New York are amazing This video just goes to show that once again! People tend to ‘expect’ the police man to jump down and put his life on the line, but he deserves kudos and thanks, as well as the other man who also came down to help. Real heroes.

I like the thinking and task allocation. A photographer to capture the moment. A brave police officer and a brave civilian jumping in and cheering men giving words of encouragement, others keeping an eye on the oncoming train and others helping to pull them out.
