They rushed it knowing they needed more episodes or even another series The term ‘writers’ should be used loosely with these two. As soon as they lost their source material they struggled. There was no story, they just jumped from plot point to plot point and stuck in some rather nice visual effects.Considering the end of GoT, I think it’s a good thing! I hope for Netflix’s sake that they’ll be adapting someone else’s (finished) works, and not writing their own material.I’m not a Star wars fan but a huge GOT fan.

Those two made a terrible mess of the last season of GOT and I’m happy for the sake of Star Wars fan that they don’t get to do it again.’Trilogy’ is a bit of a misnomer these days. Please no more Star Wars films – they have become parodies of the originals which were brilliant. You would have thought that by Death Star no. 3 they would have fixed the fault of being able to destroy it by flying through an exhaust port and dropping a torpedo!Star Wars lost its edge with the last two films but they were marginally better than the awful prequel trilogy. The jury is out until I’ve seen the one being released at Christmas but can’t imagine how Disney can honestly wring one more drop out of this flagging franchise after that.Season 8 of GoT was very unpopular and the only recent thing David Benihof has put to his name to since is 2019 flop Gemini Man. Star Wars has probably dodged a bullet here.Yess after they screwed up GOT we have been saved from their incompetence destroying another icon. Didn’t realise Netflix was such a charitable organisation to take one for the team.BBC
