Not the same as the prop ones used. As blank firing guns have blocked barrels so nothing comes out, but still look like the real thing. Sadly though, due to movies wanting that flash they use real guns but with blank cartridges., so if anything is lodged in the chamber or barrel by accident, that will become the “bullet”. From now on though, surely blank firing guns should now be used. When a country is so captivated by guns and the normality of gun ownership you’re bound to experience complacency. Very sad. BBC.
